how can i backup system files from another hard-drive?
Ok, if i took out a hard-drive from another PC…this hard-drive won’t boot into its operating system so I’m about to format it and install a fresh Windows on it from my own PC…using some IDE to USB adapter attached to it.
So, I’m able to browse this Hard-Drive so i can easily backup files like some musics, photos, etc…My question is: How can i backup/restore the system drivers that are already installed on this Hard-Drive (Display adapter drivers, sound drivers, ethernet, etc…) from my System? In case I lost the driver CD’s.
I downloaded some backup drivers and tests them within my system but they don’t seem to have an option to backup external storage system drivers….they always backup my own system drivers.
Please tell me how…i really need this
thnx
Have you looked into Norton’s Ghost.
