Cricut machines help people a great deal with scrapbook making. The mat is responsible for holding the paper or vinyl that you will have the cricut machine cut your design out of. This is a very sticky piece of paper that is similar to a sticker pad. If you are not experienced in the process of using this mat, you will end up buying more than you expect.
One great way to ensure the longevity of your mat is to cover it. Most of the time, the user neglects to cover the mat after use and this lets a lot of dust particles settle in on the surface of your mat. If you have one mat, use a clear plastic to protect it but if you are using two, then you can store both face to face. If your cricut mats have really lost their stickiness, you can use a quilting spray to help it regain its adhesiveness. It’s been tried and tested so you won’t have anything to worry about.
